CARRIER CARE

Baby Carrier and Cover Cleaning Instructions:

Cleaning Gojiberry carrier and cover is relatively straightforward, since cotton is durable fabric that can withstand regular washing

Cleaning Instructions: 

Gentle hand wash in cold water or machine washing as instructed below. 

Machine Washing: 

    • Set the washing machine to a gentle cycle using cold or lukewarm water. Hot water can cause cotton to shrink and fade. 
    • Use a mild detergent formulated for colors or delicate fabrics. 
    • Avoid overloading the washing machine to allow the carrier or cover to move freely and prevent wrinkling.
    • Once the washing cycle is complete, promptly remove the cover from the machine to prevent wrinkles from setting in. 

    Hand Washing: 

    • Fill a basin or sink with cold or lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild detergent. 
    • Submerge the carrier or cover in the soapy water and gently agitate it. Spot clean in case it is dirty in one place only. 
    • Allow the carrier or cover to soak for a short period, typically 10 to 15 minutes. 
    • Rinse the carrier or cover thoroughly with cool water until all detergent is removed. 
    • Gently press out excess water without wringing or twisting the fabric. 

    Drying: 

    • Air dry your carrier or cover by laying them flat on a clean, dry towel or drying rack. 

      Ironing: 

      • Once the cover or carrier is nearly dry, iron it on a medium to high setting while still slightly damp for best results.
      • Ironing on the wrong side of the cover can help preserve its finish.

      Such a comfortable baby carrier!

      We loved the combination of a more rigid and supportive waistband combined with soft and floppy shoulder straps. I don’t usually like wearing crossed straps, but found the softness of these straps really comfy in that setup! The little pouch to hold the chest clip on is a really nice touch. I’m looking forward to having more cover options to really switch up the look while only needing one carrier!
